Our Story

Cloudlet Baby began long before it had a name.

Our story started with my grandmother, who began making baby shoes in China. My mother later carried the business forward, spending more than 20 years growing the factory and building the experience in baby footwear that our family has today.

I grew up around that world. Some of the shoes I wore as a child were made by my grandmother, so baby shoes were quietly part of my life long before I ever imagined creating a brand of my own.

Over the years, I studied and lived in Hong Kong, Ireland and the United States. Experiencing different cultures shaped the way I see design, childhood and the everyday products families choose for their children.

Then I became a mother myself.

For the first time, I began looking at the products our family had made for generations not only from the perspective of manufacturing, but as a parent. I cared about how a shoe felt on little feet, how easily it could be worn, how it worked with everyday clothes, and whether something practical could also feel thoughtful and beautiful.

That became the beginning of Cloudlet Baby — the third generation of our family taking what we already know and giving it a new direction.

Starting with what we know best

Baby footwear is where our story began, so it is where Cloudlet Baby begins too.

We create soft, lightweight footwear for babies and early walkers, balancing comfort and practicality with colors, prints, embroidery and details that bring a little more character to everyday dressing.

Behind every collection is our family's hands-on experience in footwear development and production. Being closely connected to manufacturing allows us to pay attention to the small things — from materials and fit to sampling, finishing and how an idea can actually be made well.

Growing beyond little shoes

Our vision for Cloudlet Baby goes beyond footwear.

Over time, we hope to build a thoughtful world of baby essentials that feel comfortable, practical and beautiful to live with — always beginning with products we genuinely understand and would be happy to choose for our own children.

For us, growing Cloudlet Baby is not about leaving our manufacturing roots behind. It is about carrying them forward.

From my grandmother, to my mother, to me — and now, to a new generation of little ones around the world.

Alongside our own collections, we also work with retailers and babywear brands through wholesale and private-label development, bringing the same product experience behind Cloudlet Baby to their own ideas and collections.
